Growing up on a small ranch in Nevada I was exposed to animals early in life. My love for animals and the great outdoors began as a child and has only increased. Taking images of wildlife is a great way to share the wonders that they truly are. I have owned a camera since I was a child, but only have photographed wildlife for about 10 years. When my three sons were growing up I got a lot of practice taking pictures of them. I have had some great mentors that have helped me with my photography, and I am very thankful to them. I feel that every image I take is a precious gift, whether I'm sitting at a coyote den watching pups or sneaking through the brush to catch a buck or hiking the ridges looking for a big bull, each one is a wonderful gift.
